The Grey Album...Anyone?

Anybody ever checked out The Grey Album? It's done by Danger Mouse from Gnarls Barkley and he mashes up Jay-Z songs with songs from The Beatles' White Album. Pretty amazing...

It's kinda cool, the idea is cooler than the music, but it is certainly very interesting.

A lot of people don't like it. I think they expected Jay-Z rhyming over looped beatles snippits when they got actual productions. Some of the beats are bizarre ("dirt off your shoulder" comes to mind) but it's pretty good. Just don't expect to hear the chorus to "happiness is a warm gun" repeated under "moment of clarity."
